Trevon De’Sean Diggs, an American football cornerback with the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL), was born on September 20, 1998. In the 2020 NFL Draft, the Cowboys selected him in the second round of the selection process after he played college football at Alabama.

In the beginning, Diggs went to Rockville, Maryland’s Thomas S. Wootton High School. He made the decision to follow football coach Tyree Spinner and transfer to The Avalon School in Wheaton, Maryland, after his sophomore year.
In high school, he played wide receiver and defensive back. He has 78 receptions for 1,008 yards and 15 touchdowns in his junior year. He recorded 1,269 receiving yards as a senior. At receiver, he was selected twice for the Washington, D.C. Metro All-Star team. He pledged to play college football at the University of Alabama.

Diggs was a wide receiver, return specialist, and safety for Alabama in 2016 as a true freshman. At the end of the season, he had 296 total return yards on special teams, five tackles and one forced fumble on defense, and 11 receptions for 88 yards and a score on offense.[3]
Diggs made the full-time switch to cornerback in 2017 as a sophomore.[4][5] Levi Wallace passed him on the depth chart when he started the season opener against Florida State. He recorded three passes defensed and six tackles. In addition, he participated in special teams play, returning two kickoffs for 74 yards and eighteen punts for 154 yards, including a long of 21 yards.[6]

He recorded 37 tackles, three interceptions (tied for second on the team), eight passes defensed (tied for the team lead), two fumble recoveries, including a 100-yard touchdown return against Tennessee, and 12 starts as a senior in 2019.[9] Against Arkansas, he had 100+ total return yards, recovered two fumbles (one for a touchdown), and returned an interception for an 84-yard touchdown.[10] Against LSU, he recorded a career-high 10 tackles.
