Fans left shocked after Caitlin Clark makes stunning admission about her Indiana Fever coach Christie Sides AND…
Caitlin Clark has left fans in disbelief after lifting the lid on what it’s like playing under Indiana Fever coach Christie Sides.
Clark, the No. 1 pick at this year’s WNBA Draft, is enjoying a whirlwind rookie season with the Fever after breaking a host of records in her historic college career in Iowa.
While she has been at the center of widespread controversy off it, the 22-year-old is already justifying the hype on the court, leading the way for rookies when it comes to points per game with 16.2.
And remarkably, it seems she is earning her stripes up in the big leagues without much guidance on the court.
Following Indiana’s 89-77 defeat to the Seattle Storm on Friday night, Clark was asked about the best piece of in-game advice she has received from a veteran teammate so far this season.
Yet her stunning response has opened Sides up for fierce criticism on social media.
‘Nobody gives me advice in game. I wish,’ she admitted.
Despite the initial question being about Clark’s teammates, fans quickly took to X to call out Sides and question her influence as a coach.
