American football linebacker Devin Marcel White was born on February 17, 1998, and currently plays for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). He was selected fifth overall by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 2019 NFL Draft after playing collegiate football at LSU. He played for the Buccaneers for five seasons and was a member of the team that won Super Bowl LV.

Devin White was a standout linebacker and running back in football at North Webster High School in Springhill, Louisiana.
After high school, White was a contentious recruit who had numerous run-ins with the law. He was arrested in November 2015, along with his teammate Keuntra Gipson, for the misdemeanor of having sex with a 14-year-old in Louisiana.A month subsequently, White was taken into custody on misdemeanor counts of “driving with reckless abandonment and evading law enforcement.”[3] White was kicked out of the 2015 Under Armour All-America Game due to his legal problems.[4] He was nonetheless allowed to sign a football contract with LSU in spite of these scandals.

White led the club with 15 tackles in the Week 2 victory over the Panthers, 11 of which came from solo efforts. The game ended 31–17.[24] In the team’s 38–10 victory in Week 6 against the Green Bay Packers, White led the team with 10 tackles and had one sack of Aaron Rodgers.[25] NFC Defensive Player of the Week awardee White recorded a team-high 11 tackles in Week 7, nine of which were from solo attempts.
