The tight end for the San Francisco 49ers and Claire Kittle, whom he met as a freshman at the University of Iowa, were wed in 2019. Following their engagement in 2018, the pair eloped, and they currently reside in Nashville, Tennessee, during the NFL offseason. Together, they have a Bernedoodle puppy named Deenie.
Claire attends all of the four-time Pro Bowler’s games, whether they are played at home or away, as a passionate fan.
“G you are a constant inspiration to me & everyone around you,” she posted on Instagram on January 30, 2022, following the 49ers’ loss to the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Championship game. “It’s amazing how much you adore this game…You’re my superhero, and I’ll support you no matter what.”
Claire spoke candidly with PEOPLE in February about how her husband “manifested” his way back and how happy she was to be supporting him in the 2024 Super Bowl, which the 49ers ultimately lost after playing the Kansas City Chiefs in the big game.
“I don’t know if you saw the clip of him from our Super Bowl run in Miami when he said, ‘I’ll be back,'” she continued. It’s a really cool and moving clip. You will always treasure the fact that he made that a reality and that this team was able to regain that standing.”
“It doesn’t happen to everybody,” she continued. And we feel quite fortunate to have this opportunity once more, and we are ecstatic about it.”Who is the wife of George Kittle, then? Here is all you need to know about Iowa native and 49ers star Claire Kittle.
When Claire and George were both freshman at the University of Iowa in 2012, their paths first crossed. Claire was in the parking lot when George and his roommate were standing outside their dorm. However, the tight end claimed that it wasn’t quite love at first sight.
“I saw her and I was like, ‘Goddamn, who is that?'” In his proposal video from 2018, George recollected. He said, ‘Oh, that’s Claire,'” In fact, according to one of my pals, she is a complete b—-.”George, however, approached her and made a comment about her bright pink moped helmet because he claimed he wanted to “find out for myself.” The football player then remained in the “friend zone” for the following eight months until they started dating.
